The 5-year fieldwork window
All of your fieldwork must be accrued within 5 continuous years.
What it means
Your fieldwork must be completed within a span of 5 continuous years (for example, May 2020 to April 2025). Hours older than that window at the time you apply won’t count. Fieldwork also can’t begin until you’ve started qualifying coursework and secured a qualified supervisor.
Example
If you started accruing hours in June 2022, all counting hours must fall on or before June 2027.
Where it trips people up
A long pause can quietly push your earliest hours out of the 5-year window. If your fieldwork stretches out, keep an eye on whether your oldest months still qualify.
